Tripawds: Community Forum & Help for Three Legged Dogs

If you and your dog are facing an amputation, or have just gone through one, you need to join Tripawds, the community website for three legged dogs and cats.

Dogs dealing with osteosarcoma or any other cancer that may require an amputation can really be helped by this incredible community. Their free library of resources are awesome, their discussion forums are invaluable, and their general optimistic, supportive attitude is heaven-sent. They make gear recommendations, review books, and generally make life easier (and more reassuring) for anyone dealing with amputation. They even have a toll-free support helpline.

And if you want to make a contribution to a charity in memory of your own pup, their foundation is a great way to help others in need.

Molly we are so honored that you shared our community with your readers, thank you! We know how scary amputation can be for us humans, and we are here to help every step of the way for dog (and cat) parents.

Also, just wanted to add that thanks to our generous donors, the Tripawds Foundation also offers direct assistance programs to members, such as:

The Tripawds Amputation Surgery Assistance Program,, where we will reimburse financially distressed individuals $500 toward the cost of surgery.

The Maggie Moo Rehab Reimbursement Program, which reimburses anyone up to $200 for taking their new Tripawd to a certified rehabilitation therapist.

The Tripawds Rescue Reimbursement Program, which reimburses up to $100 for anyone who adopts a Tripawd from a 501c3 rescue or public shelter.

The Tripawds Gear Fund, which will purchase a harness for financially distressed parents.

If anyone has any questions please reach out to us at Tripawds.com. Thanks!
