Dog Cancer Treat: Snack Water

Updated: April 16th, 2021

Summary

Does your dog refuse to drink water? Renée has a way to tempt her to drink up: Snack Water!

Our babies don’t always want to drink their water … so I came up with “snack water.”

It’s super easy and helps your pup drink.

Snack Water Recipe

Save the broth or gravy when you cook your dog’s meat. Skim the fat, add it to water, and make drinking some irresistible!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of fresh water
  • 3 tablespoons (or more, if your dog needs more temptation) gravy/broth from crockpot/pan

Add gravy to water in your dog’s water bowl. They’ll think their drink is a snack!

Enjoy!

Thanks. I put the broth from cooking Delilah’s Turkey to ice cube trays, and then add the frozen cubes to her water on hot Summer days (still hot in Southern California)

I have two frenchies who pull like work mules on daily walks. As a result theyre very muscular and fit ( good) but their tongues curl and become red ( even when its cool outside ( bad).
Ive always given them warm rich bone broth over their raw dinners for their healthy guts . For the past year ive added about 4-5 tbsp Decaf green tea with a tbsp of organic cottage cheese or tsp of almond butter . Its an antioxidant and they lap it all up!
As you know raw fed dogs drink very little so i stay creative to keep them hydrated.

I had canine bone broth powder to water for my 14 year old twice a day. Also canine bilberry eye powder to water once a day.
