The Use of Homeopathy Against Dog Cancer
Updated: June 28th, 2018
Homeopathy is an alternative medical practice established in Europe in the early 1800s. In homeopathic practice, the symptoms of an illness are viewed as the body’s way of purging that sickness. The founding theory of homeopathy is the Principle of Similar, meaning that “like cures like” or that a disease can be treated by introducing a substance that would produce a similar symptom in a healthy patient. This is a similar theory to that used in vaccines. Homeopathic remedies are highly diluted solutions derived from plants, minerals, and herbs. Many people like the idea of using homeopathic remedies for themselves and their companion animals. If you would like to add a homeopathic veterinarian to your team, you can find one in your area by going to www.HolisticVetList.com
There were many studies, articles and books Dr. Dressler and Dr. Ettinger used when writing The Dog Cancer Survival Guide. Here is a list of the most important references about homeopathy.
Please note that in vivo and clinical use citations were included whenever possible. We have also include links to the papers, where available. Most of the papers are found on the National Institute of Health’s online library, PubMed.
